I am interested in the part of the high school that you see the large painted mural on the outside of the school's wall with the wavy awningany pics?

I may be wrong about this and I know you asked this well over a year ago but I believe that high school was somewhere in Tempe or Scottsdale, Arizona. I went to college there and remember driving around with a friend and he pointed out that's where they filmed JOOTG. Can't recall the name of the school, however.
