Absolutely horrendous acting. Ridiculous story line. Over the top 80's clothes. Perfect ending. Have I mentioned the horrendous acting?
And yet we still love it and watch it years later! I was so excited to find this on Netflix and forced my husband to sit through it, and although he shook his head the whole time he still didn't leave the room lol! Maybe because I told him about the boob flash at the end..
The 80's ruled:) Off to watch The Breakfast Club.. -

You sound uptight and come off as having no sense of humor.
"Just one of the guys" is one of the best comedies of the 80's. It never tried to be more than it was and that's why it worked so well. It's a great movie. Very underrated if you ask me. -

What made you say that she sounds "uptight and come off as having no sense of humor"? The acting was horrendous (Buddy: "You'll have a party and I'll uh, uh, uh!"?), but so was the acting in a lot of 80s teen movies. We still loved them. It's obvious the OP thinks the movie is funny. Just in a cheesy kind of way.
