didn't Mia Farrow's performance deserve an Oscar nomination?

I've often thought it rather strange that Mia Farrow was never nominated for any Oscars. There were several actors/actresses in Woody Allen's movies that were nominated, but never Mia, despite making several movies with Woody. I feel she could have deserved a nomination for Purple Rose of Cairo and Broadway Danny Rose, at least. I guess the competition was just very strong for those years.
I would like to hear other people's thoughts on this. -

I totally agree with you regarding Mia Farrow deserving an oscar nomination. Maybe not exactly for this role (idk, I did not perceive it as a highlight in her acting, but it may be just me), but there were many others where she was absolutely amazing.
In that sense I wouldn't say she's underrated, rather overlooked or how shall I put it.
