I'm sure you've all heard that the doomsday clocks the closest it's been to midnight since the 50's. Can't say we weren't warned.

Well, times has changed.
They keep fiddling with that clock any time
anything
happens these days, I think they also use it for a political purpose.
These days, it's the environment along with the war in Syria, terror, Trump and whatnot.it has become more of a indicator of the scientific communities political views and not the impending doom of the world as we know it.

Add to that, the fact since Threads first aired on tv, NASA and other countries Space programs Still have no way of deflecting a life ending asteroid from hitting earth.
