him at a high dollar joint called "The Betsy,". Doea anyone know if the Betsy
really exists?

I don't know about a real restaurant but the was a Jaquelyn Smith? novel and movie made called "the Betsy". It was a romantic/intrigue story about the rich and powerful and and a poor engineer who built a gas turbine powered car called the Betsy.
Hey, Tommy Lee Jones was in that too!
