Sara Kestelman and Jane Lapotaire should have swapped roles

Kestelman bears a striking resemblance to the real Mary Tudor, and would have conveyed the morose and fanatical nature of the woman, far better than Lapotaire did, whose portrayal was too sympathetic and conveyed warmth. Despite being miscast as Mary, I think Lapotaire would have been excellent as Jane’s mother Lady Frances.
