I wonder why she is listed as 'Introducing' in this film, despite the fact she appeared in another motion picture, Private School (1983). I am guessing it was because this was her first starring role. That or the filmmakers either forgot or chose to ignore her previous film role in Private School.

I guess because she had a higher-profile role here. Did you notice she also wrote and sang the theme song? What a talented lady!

Ive never actually heard her perform but she does in fact have a band that performs at Bob's Espresso (which is owned by Robert Romanus who played Mike Damon in Fast Times at Ridgemont High and happens to be the brother of Richard Romanus who is in this film).

Cool, she mentions her friendship with Robert Romanus on the audio commentary of this movie which was recently released on Blu Ray by Twilight Time.
