Am I the only one who doesn't like Webby?

She's too much of a girly-girl for me.
Well, in the beginning, she was a little girl, probably even younger than the three nephews, so she was very childish, and she loved her doll as a mother loves her baby, just like girls that age do. But she matures during the run of the show, more than what the boys do. And in one of her last episodes, she manages to use the shrunk Gizmoduck suit right away, while none of the three boys were able to use it at all. Heck, even Fenton had some problems with the suit for a little while, when he was new to it. This shows that while you might think that anybody can be a superhero, if he or she has the chance to wear a Gizmoduck suit, the suit is only meant to be worn by a chosen couple of people. And interestingly enough, it was Fenton, who's considered a dweeb and a geek and everything, and then the little girl Webby, rather than any of the boys, who were meant to wear it. Well, to sum it up, if we would have seen a teenage version of Webby, she would without any doubt be much cooler and maturer than the almost babyish Webby we see in most of this show. And I once read a fanfic, where Webby became Fenton's successor as Gizmoduck, and I think that might be what would have happened, if we had been allowed to see the same characters some years into the future.

Webby was an amaglamated version of Daisy's nieces April, May and June who were of course supposed to be counterparts to Huey, Dewy and Louie.

I think it's funny the way some people pick on Webby. It was clear she was about 4-5 years younger then the boys .
The boys through fits and demanded what they wanted right when they wanted it .Enough through Webby did
sort act like a baby at times it was because she was the baby of the family. The boys were spoiled with attention
and things .Webby never got much attention so she played with her dolls because they were the only things she
had.She was interested in baseball yet even through the boys were taken to baseball games she was never taken
Yet she had good arm even the boys said so .Scrooge nor Miss Beakley ever spent time with her.
Scrooge's time was spent normally with the boys while she was pushed aside. You never saw even one episode where Scrooge spent any special time with her.One the best cartoon episodes I remember as kid was the smurfs one were there were having ball and Papa took Sassette . I was hoping if they ever made special episode for the two it would be something like this .He would praise the boys even when she was helping and give her no credit .The one that really bugged the boys and Webby were giving away salty crackers to make people thirsty to buy there lemon aid .
Scrooge tells Fenton what a great idea the boys had and to market the idea Webby who is also helping is given no credit for the idea .Later the boys and Webby try to stop some medal eating bugs from eating Scrooge's money again Webby was helping. The boys tell Scrooge they tried to stop the bugs Webby who was also helping is standing near by he respond and a fine try you made lads. Webby once again stands beside watching the boys get praised for something she tried to help with also getting no Credit . Maybe Scrooge felt she couldn't have thought of the idea because she was to little or a girl.
I think the worst mistake Disney made was making her Miss Beakley's granddaughter because was she was
pushed Away from the beginning with having any real relationship with Scrooge.I would much rather seen her
been a kid Scrooge found roaming the streets and took as foster child or something .Yet making her part of
Scrooge's staff made people feel she was worth less then she was. I am sure at the age she was during the
gizmo kid they felt she was to young to be parading around helping Gizmoduck but she would done a
great job doing it.
Scrooge did hold onto her a bit tight because she was the only girl and the youngest but he should have
its only normal him being the Adult. That could have been why he never took her anywhere for fear she would
get hurt.
I agree it was better in the first season in the second one she was treated pretty badly by the third one it was
getting a little better for her.I did wonder who was watching her when they were gone and then you start to
wonder if they would run off and just forget to even find someone to watch her.Maybe Miss Beakley hired
someone to Watch her while she was working that seem odd since there were other children she could play
with and this man who she called Uncle maybe cause there was no other adult man in her life.I did like Webby
but I think they Could have used her more. -

I never disliked her much. They were smart not to use her too much which made her less annoying.
My least favourite character had to be Gizmoduck, i found him annoying and he basically replaced Launchpad which was a superior character and Launchpad was halirious. Season 3 of Ducktales was a bit weaker because of this.
