Riker is a toned down Captain Kirk . Kirk would just grab the first attractive woman he saw and kiss her. He barely even cared about age.
He's stuck on a starship for 10+ years can't blame him. That being said, he had Deanna so I found it a bit odd they both fool around all they want, have flings on the side, and no one ever cares. Same with Picard and Beverly.
Womanizing was just… part of being a male hero in the 80s-90s. They expected you to womanize. If you didn't, you'd be a pretty boring hero.

season 5 is basically just a boring ass soap opera where riker ****s every woman he sees, then deanna gives him moral permission to do it even though it's clearly inappropriate and is causing avoidable conflicts
riker needs to be killed off if this show is going to redeem itself
