A Russian minister who allegedly criticised Vladimir Putin over his invasion of Ukraine has mysteriously died after falling fatally ill on a flight to Moscow.
Petr Kucherenko, 46, became the latest member of Moscow’s elite to die in far from normal circumstances as he returned to the Russian capital from Cuba on May 20.
The Kremlin’s deputy science minister received CPR after the plane made an emergency landing.
However, Kucherenko was pronounced dead after doctors rushed to provide medical assistance.
Heart problems have been blamed for the 46-year-old’s death.
An autopsy has also been scheduled for Wednesday. -

It's weird how so many Putin critics "fall out of windows"
A top Russian defense official has died after reportedly
plunging out of the 16th-floor window of a high-rise
in St. Petersburg — the latest in a string of untimely deaths among prominent officials and allies of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Marina Yankina, 58, the head of the financial support department for the Russian Defense Ministry's Western Military District, was found dead on Wednesday outside of the St. Petersburg, Russia, building, according to independent Russian media outlet Meduza.
Yankina's death comes after a number of Russian officials have died in unusual or unexplained circumstances since Putin launched his unprovoked war on Ukraine nearly a full year ago.
Most recently, fired Russian Interior Ministry Major General Vladimir Makarov was found dead this week in an apparent suicide, The Moscow Times reported.
Putin critic and sausage tycoon Pavel Antov
died after falling out of a window at a hotel in India
in December. Last September, 67-year-old Russian energy oligarch Ravil Maganov also
died after falling from a hospital window
, Insider reported at the time. -

It's an old spy agency trick. Of course if you do it 20 times in a row it starts to get suspicious.

2. Accidents.
For secret assassination, either simple or chase, the contrived accident is the most effective technique. When successfully executed, it causes little excitement and is only casually investigated.
The most efficient accident, in simple assassination, is a fall of 75 feet or more onto a hard surface. Elevator shafts, stair wells, unscreened windows and bridges will serve. Bridge falls into water are not reliable. In simple cases a private meeting with the subject may be arranged at a properly-cased location. The act may be executed by sudden, vigorous [excised] of the ankles, tipping the subject over the edge. If the assassin immediately sets up an outcry, playing the "horrified wit ness", no alibi or surreptitious withdrawal is necessary. In chase cases it will usually be necessary to stun or drug the subject before dropping him. Care is required to insure that no wound or condition not attributable to the fall is discernible after death. -

A lot of those people accidentally shot themselves in the back multiple times by being reckless with firearms or accidentally fell out of a window. The carelessness just happens to be a common and almost contagious trait among comrade Putin’s critics.
