I watch this film guarded, as to make sure no one else is around, any film that can make you joyful, and sad at the ending has,accomplished something special. I always feel sad for the world and for those who have never offered kindness for no gain other than being a human being, I miss John as if he was a old friend.

It takes quite a lot of talent to play that character like he did. He was simultaneously the most annoying traveling companion that you could ever run into, but one of the most lovable goofballs at the same time. Its hard to come up with other actors that could pull that combination off.

Well saidOne of the best endings to a movie. John Candy was a true original which are hard to come by these days. Now it's about who can be the crudest and cross that "did they seriously just do that" moment just to try and get a laugh. Martin and Candy were just naturals together
