I would have slept with her again after finding out she was my Aunt. It is stupid to make it illegal just because of a relation by marriage. It should only be illegal if it is a blood relative.
I agree! The reason for the "blood relative" taboo is because of the whole birth defects possibility.

Technically not related. At least not anymore. I seem to think that there was a point in there that connection was through a distant marriage that didn't last very long.
But anyway you look at it, boinking the boss's wife for a job that you only got because you were desperate and because you're kinda sorta related to the boss isn't a brilliant idea. -

This is really funny. I've never seen many cheesy eighties movies get a long , long post that had five pages like this one.
But if Jerry Lee Lewis can bang his cousin and get a mixed reaction, than this is pretty much nothing(especially since MJ didn't know it was his aunt at the time).
Come on now people. -

Yeah, it would've been even naughtier if Howard was actually his unclethat would've justified the outrage on this board, at leastlol. That would've been great. (cuz Vera would still not be a blood relative, and it would've been more justifiably uncomfortable for Brantley).
But they went to great lengths to say that even Howard is barely related to Brantley. Therefore, the taboo is not even really a taboo.
This thread didn't need another post, but I added one anyway. Ha!
you watched it, you cant unwatch it -

It's funny that this stupid question got so many responses. Obviously the original post is just by some dumb prudish New York kid who thinks everything is "gross." Relax people, obviously him banging his wife was fine
And she was pretty hot. -

No, it's
not
disgusting! Here's why:- They were not related by blood!
- They were only tangentially related, if even that.
- One thing that Biblical creationists and evolutions can agree on: Every human being on this planet is related to each other! We all have a common ancestor, somewhere.
- Just because Brantley felt that it was wrong, it doesn't mean that he was right.
- Technically, if Alice and Bob were both half-siblings of Carol - but Alice and Carol have a common mother, while Bob and Carol have a common father - Alice and Bob wouldn't really be related. Thus, it'd be legal for them to wed. Brantley and Vera are even less related than the hypothetical Alice and Bob are.
You see, in the beginning, all was well. There was harmony. There was balance.

Yeah I did find it a bit disturbing. Even though they were not blood related it was a bit disturbing. It didn't sit well in a sort of family film. I know in the US it is PG 13 but that is still a bit too strong for this type of movie.
In the UK it is a PG. What with this and the composing the couple in the other room romping and the couple doing it on the photocopier!!!! -

I don't get you people. It happen often in real life, more then you think, it's no big deal if it's wanted by both.
the Big problem should be the fact that he was sexually abused and even assaulted. He never wanted this, she came very strong and never quit. What if it was an uncle and his young niece in the exact same situation?
