Trump is the only one that stands a chance of getting the nomination. If he wasn't running then it would be Nikki Haley. If she wasn't running then it would be DeSantis. if he wasn't running then it would be anyone but Vivik Ramaswamy.

Because he is NOT a politician. A politician is always the worst choice for president. And because he doesn't sound like he is reading from a list of GOP talking points. And because unlike Trump he can string three words together without putting both feet in his mouth. And because he actually sounds like he knows what the **** he is talking about.

The race for the 2024 Republican Presidential Nomination is already over, Donald Trump has pretty much already won it. All of the others that are running for the Nomination (or are going to run for the Nomination) have absolutely no chance of beating him. That race is already over.

In 2016 the left wanted Bernie but the party chose Clinton. Now many on the right may want Trump but much of the party cant stomach him. I think DeSantis has the upper hand even though Vivek is the better choice.

No, I have to disagree there.
In the 2016, the right wanted Donald Trump but the party didn't (I think that the party wanted Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio, or Jeb Bush) but in the end, the right got who they wanted.
When it comes to 2024, I think that DeSantis, Vivek, and anybody else that is running (or will run) for the 2024 Republican Presidential Nomination all have absolutely zero chance of beating Trump for the Nomination. As I said before, I think that that race is already over. I would honestly be surprised if Trump actually lost more than 2 of the 2024 Republican Presidential Primaries.
