The fact that anyone considered making Jaws IV makes it bad. No Roy Scheider to start with and a completely unrealistic story idea. A shark that wants revenge and swims from New England to the Bahamas, (a psychic shark by the way) followed up by the craziest way to kill a shark (stab him with the boat). But hey, Michael Caine got a nice house out of it.

Jaws 4 is legit bad. It can only be enjoyed for its ott crapness. Superman IV I think actually is an enjoyable film and is much better from a film making perspective (better story, script etc). In the wake of Man Of Steel, I think it's got even better. It has a certain charm that you can't hate on.

I like all four of the Christopher Reeve Superman movies. They're all classics in my opinion (thanks largely to his god-like presence) and I don't care what anyone says!

Unfortunately, both of these crappy Part IV's were the first film I saw in each of the franchises. Didn't see either in the theater, but shortly afterward both films were put into a pretty heavy rotation on HBO. At the time I didn't realize how bad they were, as I was only 7/8, I didn't think they were good though. Even though both are terrible, Jaws: The Revenge at least resembled an actual movie. Albeit a bad one. Superman IV seems like some kid made a fan film and actually managed to get the real cast. I barely even consider it a real movie.
