You know, leftist and liberal supppprt of Muslims is more about them not being attacked for their faith and being able to believe what they want, right? None of us are okay with ruling by Islam.
Islam rule and progressive ideals are incompatible. They're more compatible with conservative views.

And you are scared to lose their votes. That's the entire reason the word Islamophobe was created in the first place. To pander.
Liberals don't care about 'views'. They just want votes. That's why they pander to black people and Hispanics and illegals and Muslims and LGBTQ. They want to get enough of these groups to win elections.
Someone shoots up a gay bar. Kills over 50 people. Horrible. Right? The initial reports it had to be a Christian. So they blamed Christianity.
Turns out it was a Muslim. Did they blame Islam? No. They blamed the gun.
Liberals will ignore any atrocity committed by Muslims. -

That's ridiculous lol. Definitely not where I live. I insult religions all the time and the only death threats I've gotten were from Baptists.
I hate all the Abrahamic religions, but support all your rights to believe whatever dumb **** you wanna believe.
Yeah, not denying Islam or people of any belief system or nonbelief have the capacity to do harm. No argument there. Muslims do some bad **** and sometimes in the name of their religion. Still believe in religious freedom. Not the religious freedom to infringe on others, but within those confines.

But you don't see a lot of criticism because religious oppression in this country comes more from Christians. Even domestic terrorism comes more from white right wingers.

I can't think of examples other than Trunp who have been critical of Islam either because it's not something I pay attention to. Why does it matter? Islam is mostly irrelevant to US culture.
What politicians actaully support Islam being forced on anyone? What laws have they tried to get passed?

The difference is that atheists do not believe in the existence of a God/deity/higher power and Christians do. There are plenty of Christians who are good people, not because of any threat of eternal punishment, but because they are genuinely good people. There are also plenty of good atheists too, just like there are plenty of atheists who are not good people at all.
