There's definitely something about him.
A lot of beautiful actors have only their beauty to offer when they act.
But Malkovich, he has such a great charisma, he's magnetic really, hypnotic even, he's insanely attractive : something in his eyes, in his contemptuous smile .. There's something both insane and attractive about him, I don't exactly how to formulate it.
That's how I feel about him ! -

he is delicious, and as Valmont, breathtakingly beautiful. I've seen this film numerous times and John Malkovich very successfully crafts the character he portrays and gives him multiple layers and facets, including a machiavellian humour. He is a delight to watch and, indeed, very lovely. I'd love to have long chat with him one day about life and all that.

Being attracted to someone dangerous isn't just a female thing. Men are attracted to femmes fatales just as women are attracted to rogues. It doesn't mean we want to raise a family with them. Now that would be stupid. I agree that John Malkovich is dead sexy in this film. It's in a creepy way, because you know he's evil, but it's irresistable!

He wasn't a very nice guy was he?? I don't know that he was evil; he was rich and bored and didn't have anything except other peoples lives to play with. J.M. played him exactly right. There are a couple of times, you can see something in his eyes. Is he sorry? Remorseful? Those moments don't last long, but they are definitly there.
As for sexy, yea, he is. Its that whole bad boy thing I guess.
If you've seen him in Man In The Iron Mask, he's sexy in it too, but in a whole different way.
He really is one of the most versitile actors working today.
It's called a llaaaannceHellooooo -

Congratulations, troll. I reported you.
I usually don't like Malkovich. I found him ugly and annoying in Les Mis, but in this, he's charmant. Like a good Don Giovanni who has the aura of sexiness, the voice, the charisma. It's something in his eyes. -

Nevertheless, I can't understand how he managed to seduce young innocent Cecile. I can somewhat understand madame de Tourvel, even though she had been faultlessly faithful to her husband until then. But how Valmont got her way with Cecilie still boggles me. And I also don't understand how Danceny could be seduced by marquise de Merteuil. Because both she and Valmont were rather nasty.
Yes, it's true! IMDB has reached Sweden! -

Um, YES, very attractive. I would have been one of those dumb women who was seduced, quite easily. There's just something about him- sublimely sexy and just such a lothario- loved him in this film. He IS Valmont

Not exactly what i would call a heartthrob. But he was amazingly attractive as Valmont. In fact, i find myself falling in love with valmont. He is the perfect character for valmont. He really has a certain magnetism. the way he speaks, his stares. all in all, rather sexy.
so, YES i'm sooo attracted to valmont. i would so totally love him if he was real though that's just stupid. but can't help it. -

I guess I'm in the minority here but I find him extremely unattractive! I don't believe that women would find him sexy, sensuous or handsome if he was a regular guy walking past them in the mall. His eyes are misplaced and he's got really bad teeth.truly creepy looking.
As it relates to the film, his voice, mannerisms and entire presence lacked appeal from the beginning. Sure, there are guys out there that aren't the most attractive but have a certain charisma or energy about them I did not get that from him at all. And I don't like the "bad boy" persona. pathological lying and narcissism do not turn me on.
