    I was taken back by the question. I went home and gave it some thought. I have come to the conclusion that the vast majority of the comedies made today are essentially adults acting like 11 year old boys. (You can thank Will F for this or maybe it stated with Jim C.) My nephew was not used to seeing 40 some-things acting more or less like adults, hence the question. Maybe if Otto let loose a couple of farts on Ken
    Comedies where all the actors act their age are pretty rare today.

      Most people today need everything spelled out for them because they're too stupid to get subtlety. They need everything explained.

          It also has a plot and good dialogue; most comedies lately have only a premise and some sight gags.

                This is the same generation that thought Airplane! was stupid and laughed heartily at Paul Blart: Mall Cop, so I would take anything they say with a grain of salt. Hell, I'd take it with the whole Morton Salt factory.
