A lazy eye, I guess. Must be all that rural inbreeding.

Little Korean is again correct. Paul Brooke, who plays the cop in the film, is afflicted with lazy eye, or more technically, what is known as amblyopia. But his handicap hasn't seemed to affected his acting ability, as he as been appearing almost steadily for some forty years in films and on television.

When told about a mysterious car PC Erny says, "Better take a look, I suppose". Of course what he should have said is, "I'll try to keep an eye open."
"I beseech ye in the bowels of Christ, think that ye may be mistaken."
