      My review:
Nightmare 4 is Freddy in his full pop culture glory. While not the best of the series, it's the Freddy that comes to mind when you haven't seen any of the movies, and sometimes that's fun.
The effects and overall look of the film are the best looking of the series, but it does lack in writing quality. I think it was written during a writer's strike, and it shows. The acting is also some of the worst of the series.
Overall, it's not a good movie, but it's not good in an enjoyable, cheesy 80's way. The movie is all vibes with a thin bare plot, but it's fun.

Yeah, true…I hate when these horror franchises kept churning out terrible scripts when they should have worked on them more to achieve quality. Obviously, they were thinking of profits. The third part was actually the best sequel.
