Shouldn't this show be considered sci-fi/fantasy?

Zack has the ability to freeze time. Slater has superhuman strength. Screech built a robot better than any I've ever seen in the 23 years since the show ended. I'm sure there's some other examples I can't remember off the top of my head as wel.

This thread made me LOL. I've been saying the same thing for years.
You could also argue that it's a mystery/thriller what with all of the women who have went missing without a trace after getting involved with Zack -

Lol
It's been years, but I used to wake and bake and watch re-runs weekday mornings. If you think the show has a fantasy edge sober, holy sh!t does it take on a whole other surreal vibe stoned.
The "All in the Mall" episode stands out as particularly Twilight Zone-ish.
You got the wrong guy, mang. I don't come off no banana boat.
