Two years ago, a violent mob – fueled by hate and a tyrannical president – stormed the Capitol and attacked democracy.
Today, we mourn the officers who lost their lives, honor their grieving families, and reflect on the dangerous precipice America confronted.
Throughout our history, moments of adversity – whether Pearl Harbor or 9/11 – have brought our country together. We are not two parties but one nation dedicated to democracy.
The GOP's historic dysfunction is disgraceful — and entirely predictable.
When it comes to working for the American people, time and time again, they say NO.

You don't have to admire them for the riots and the violence but you gotta admire them for their tenacity and how they tried way the **** harder than anyone else to make a change.
I mean, what do libs do when the POTUS election does not go their way?
They just bend over and take it, while the Trumpers did not.
And what about the Antifa/BLM riots of the summer of 2020?
Those were far the **** worse with more damage and deaths, even with damage done to statues, one of them being a man who fought AGAINST the South during the Civil War, outside a capitol bldg.
For that chart, the reason why the Repubs. probably voted against those things was because there could have been other things in the bill they did not agree with.
Memes never tell the whole story.
Take a look at the Dems who are sending billions of our tax dollars overseas to murder in the Ukraine war.

I saw a headline, didn't click on it, something about a lawsuit against Trump for the alleged cause of death for that one cop at the Cap?
Say what?
He wasn't there to kill him.
So this means there should be lawsuits against the George Floyd family!
(Satire but I trust you get the point.)

Yeah, dude died of natural causes like later on that night or the next day, and not at the Capitol. Said he had a stroke or something.

I thought it was from a claim that protesters sprayed anti bear chemical spray or something on him?
Now that I think about it, that seems far fetched and laughable!
It wouldn't surprise me if false charges are brought up against some or most of them.
The Gov. has done that before.

The only person who died that day was Ashli Babbitt, an USAF veteran who served two tours in Afghanistan and Iraq before later deployments with the National Guard to Kuwait and Qatar. This is how her country thanked her.
She was unarmed. Not doing any damage. Not assaulting anyone. Not threatening anyone.
But Michael Byrd of the Capitol police was promoted for taking out his weapon, firing it and murdering Ashli Babbitt. No one was firing at him. No one was attacking him.
A black cop murders a white person and is promoted.
A white cop murders a black person and is in prison.
No one else was killed on 1/6.
No cop was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher.
The damage done was easily repaired.
No one's business was burned to the ground.
Oh, and the number of times the 1/6 committee mentioned Ashli Babbitt's name during their hearings? Zero.
