How could Old Biff have brought that Almanac back to him in 1955?
That's an even bigger plothole than BttF 1's family photo of Marty and co vanishing person at a time - who would take such a poorly framed photo of their only son?
And don't get me start on Part III!

I don't get what should have stopped Biff from bringing back the Almanac.
As for the photo, I had never considered that. But I don't know if as it changed it was supposed to have been taken that way. Otherwise the original would have contained half-phased out people. -

That's where the part three problem comes in!
Marty sees Doc at the clock tower opening but then we see the two of them together there and so what did Marty first see?
By going back and putting himself in that picture he changes the future which means he would have seen his own self in the photograph!!
