Do the four Indiana Jones movies parallel the four Tim Burton and Joel Schumacher Batman movies in terms of quality?

Not for me. This is how I rank them:
Last Crusade > Temple of Doom > Raiders of the Lost Ark > Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
      Batman (1989) > Batman Returns > Batman Forever > Batman & Robin
So, whilst the Indiana Jones saga steadily improved in quality for me, as far as the first three films go, the Burton/Schumacher Batman films got progressively worse with each instalment, starting with the sublime 1989 movie and ending with the absurd Batman & Robin.
