that when Julie walks out of the house, Helen slams the door behind her and then proceeds to open it and slam it again a couple of more times just because she is so mad. It's been awhile since I had seen it, but I just finished it again and it didn't happen this way. I wonder what movie I'm thinking of because I sure thought this was it.

Maybe you got it mixed up with a later scene in the house where Tod storms out of the house, then Gary slams the door of his bedroom, then Julie slams the door of her bedroom?
