Is this the film where the main male character, surprises one of the women with a pot plant present? What I can remember is he is lying on the bed wearing just a smile and pot plant over his middle. If I can remember he tells her this is her present and she picks up the pot plant and then asks, is this also for me.

Always thought it looked uncomfortable, but he didn't seem to mind.

Ahhh, so maybe it might be worth trying, certainly was a memorable scene.

It's common for people to say "pot plant" on my side of the world anyway.

"Pot plant" sounds like it's a marijuana plant.

Oh! I didn't think of it that way, I guess it does. Nevertheless, pot plant is common here. 🙂

One scene in the series Downton Abbey has Maggie Smith's character asking if anyone has been in her study and the butler replying that one of the gardeners had been in to water the pot plants. I know on the other side of the pond that just means potted plants but every time I imagine the Dowager Countess as a closet stoner blazing up at night and putting some jazz on the gramophone.
