Ted Danson and Tom Selleck finally get married, much to the chagrin of Steve Guttenburg, who cries a lot and vows to sabotage their marriage, all the while their little girl is a switchblade-carrying, ketamine addicted whore who is looking for life in all the wrong places.
Sounds great.

See, I've been thinking they should do 3 Men and a Bride. This girl's about my age (19-20). The whole story could be on how they think she's just a little to young to get married, then they decide she isn't, then the whole "Father of the Bride" thing kicks in. The best thing would be them trying to figure out how they all 3 are supposed to walk her down the isle! It would be so great!

As long as they find a way to get 'elspeth lomax' into the story line - She was hilarious in three men and a little lady!! The scene when she gets chocolate cake on her face had me laughing for years! Love it!

well i personality think this is a brilliant ideas
well the little girl could be in her 20s and she now going to college to read art, acting and business. she soon meet a nice guy and hope to get married to a bloke but the boys think she too young and try put him off by acting like godfathers and they try everyway to put him off. her best friend (david for example) like her but she dont know that but the boys do and they help him to win her heart. -

I've totally had this idea for like the last year. They could bring back the whole crew. The girl who played Mary is 22 this year. Tom Selleck and Nancy Travis' characters have been married for like 15 years and maybe it's on the rocks. Mary thinks she's getting married to the right guy maybe some charming English guy or something. I like the idea of this guy being in her life the whole (a parallel to her mother's). And maybe this guy tries to use the Guys (Tom, Ted, & Steve) to get Mary and sabatoge the wedding, but in reality, maybe she ends up marrying neither one and then at the very end meeting "Mr. Right" a new guy. Oh, there could also be a twist with Michael (Steve Guttenberg's character) where he feels left out because he's not Mary's biological father or her mother's husband. He's suffering with his role in her life. And then of couse Jack (Ted Danson) could be dating like three 20-somethings at once, and finally someone (any ideas??) could call him on the carpet about his philandering and ends up admitting her feelings for someone. Maybe I should just start writing the script. Any other ideas, people?

I believe there should be a third film. She's dating guys and the three men get overly protective. Get Leonard Nimoy to direct, I believe (and this is not the Trekker speaking) that he did well with Star Trek 4 and the first 3 Men. Also, he's worked with Ted Danson not too long ago on Becker. Bring back Nancy Travis, the 3 Men (obviously)maybe do it in Boston? Mary might date someone called Sam Malone (a younger version), waitsorry getting my wires crossed
Kirk, if you do this you'll never sit in the captains chair again.

I've been thinking on this. They could bring the whole thing full circle with 3 men and a Bride (or whatever you want to call it) then about a year or so later they could make 3 Men and a Grandbaby. How great would that be? Going through Mary carrying a child and the 3 guys babying her through the whole pregnancy!

I think a sequel is a great idea , the girl now a twentysomething , is in college struggling with the usual boys , homework , maybe she is a bit of a rebel and the men guide her to be a success , also like the father(s) of the bride idea.Maybe Selleck and Travis are having problems with their marriage
, with say a younger woman seducing him , Ted Danson's character is his usual
vain self , maybe up for a big part cos his character is a actor and he has to
be all nice to this older woman whos decision it is to give him the part or not , a contrast to his character cos he is always chasing younger women or maybe its not an older woman but a guy and he has to pretend to be gay , it would leave one with hillarious consequences. And last but not least Steve who maybe realises that their "daughter's" true passion lies with art like his profesion and guides her much to the chagrin of Selleck and Travis's character
who probably expect her to be a business major or she assumes. It could be titled "Three men and a Twentysomething" -

I think they should do a number 3 with Mary as a 20 year old, or slightly older in College. I think Anne Hathaway would be the perfect choice.

totally agree with this idea, I saw the original on tv today and remembered how much charm it had. 3 Men and a Bride would definitely be the way to go. It would be a low risk film (because none of the main actors have huge careers right now), and it has a built in market. get one of Hollywoods young a-list actresses to come in and play Mary and it would be a certified hit.
