I doubt that Russia is going to make life any worse for them like sending them to Siberia or prison death camps etc.
Hell, they actually might be better off under Russian rule since it would probably not be a corrupt country anymore.
If you really want what is best for Ukrainians then you would agree that to surrender or negotiate a peace deal with Russia is the best thing for them instead of continuing to fight which will end up in more lives lost of a war they cannot win which is getting killed in vain.

I would like to see an end to this war, as well as all wars end ASAP.
