There's a weird connection between Louisiana and Ohio in my experience. My ex is from Ohio. I've met several people who moved there or people from Ohio who moved here. Shit like that.

      👱🏻‍♀️ Christina 1986-05-20 👧🏼👱🏻 — 3 years ago(August 04, 2022 05:19 PM)

In Slidell (the New Orleans area, for those who don't know,) I met a girl from Wisconsin whose mom was 15 years old when she had her. She had all straight blonde hair and blue eyes and was kinda quirky, looked very young.
During Hurricane Katrina, when I was at Loyola University New Orleans starting my 2nd year, I went to school here in the Cleveland area. That's why I came back, when my parents died. We relocated to Orlando, during Hurricane Katrina for my dad's new job. Unfortunately, he was laid off when I was 16, my 3rd year of high school. I guess he got that job when I was 19.
I got a foreign exchange student from Germany, like my friend, later she said she was 3/4 French, not sure what the other 1/4 was. I liked her, but it looks like I lost the German in me. Not sure which is the real better shortcut, but people know I lived in New Orleans and had French exposure.
      ½ S/N Asian (40%+ Chinese) ½ Norwegian/Danish-Irish Swiss (Amish/PA) German French Dutch? French+Dutch Celtic-Irish English-Irish? 🇮🇹..?

I do have to have a laugh whenever I hear about people from the UK ****ting on the US. I mean, they're not wrong when they say we're a bunch of morons, but let's not act like they aren't just as dumb over there. Fuckin idiots voted to leave the EU and voted for Boris ****ing Johnson to be their PM.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention Brexit. While the right has a stronghold here, our left wing is superior. Not liberals. Fuck liberals, but the actual left. Less transphobic. More likely to partake in direct action.

Lol well, you're better than conservatives. The politicians, not really, but the voters are usually okay.
Except the ones that try to shame me about not voting.

I started planning my escape straight after the referendum and left the UK before they actually left the EU and I was last there during the last election where the ****ing morons voted for Boris Johnson and that’s when I washed my hands of the place.

I'm a European history buff and the UK has done more harm over the centuries than any other civilized nation. What a bunch of pompous poufs.

They're also responsible for the US and therefor US imperialism.

It's interesting the way the US and Canada evolved.

Canada's not that great either. I have a friend there, and she says the idea that Canada is like the utopia version of the US is bullshit.
