That's one of my biggest issues lol. They're too much like us. We had Reagan, they had Thatcher. We had Trump, they had Boris. They're Americans with fancy accents. Well, not the cockneys. Those bastards are like our rednecks.
I aay that as someone who actually likes a lot of cockney and redneck culture lol. Though, the outlaw kind of redneck, not southern Baptist racist kinda redneck.

Also not a super serious post. Just ranting. But yeah, if I had the money, could bring all my friends and family as well as my Louisiana culture to another country like Denmark, I'd move. I'd also wanna learn the language. I hate that the US sucks when it comes to teaching other languages. I took French from 4th to 6th grade and didn't learn ****.

Yeah the UK is also not too great at learning languages and I’m now kicking myself that I didn’t try harder in my school French classes -

Better than the US at least in that aspect.
And where I am, they only teach French to students who make the honor roll, so when I got bored in middle school and my grades suffered, they took me out of it. They should have at least taught everyone Spanish… or maybe Mandarin or something useful in international dealings.

I love that weather sometimes, but it's like sunny comfortable warmth in California. It would get old. Where I live isn't ideal. The summers are way too humid and our winters are not usually that cold. We get snow only once every few years or longer, but we do at least have seasons.

I saw a nice picture of Minnesota with lots of leaves in the fall, but I'm in Cleveland, Ohio. It's not so cold, but it's not hot the whole year.

In Slidell (the New Orleans area, for those who don't know,) I met a girl from Wisconsin whose mom was 15 years old when she had her. She had all straight blonde hair and blue eyes and was kinda quirky, looked very young.
During Hurricane Katrina, when I was at Loyola University New Orleans starting my 2nd year, I went to school here in the Cleveland area. That's why I came back, when my parents died. We relocated to Orlando, during Hurricane Katrina for my dad's new job. Unfortunately, he was laid off when I was 16, my 3rd year of high school. I guess he got that job when I was 19.
I got a foreign exchange student from Germany, like my friend, later she said she was 3/4 French, not sure what the other 1/4 was. I liked her, but it looks like I lost the German in me. Not sure which is the real better shortcut, but people know I lived in New Orleans and had French exposure.

I do have to have a laugh whenever I hear about people from the UK ****ting on the US. I mean, they're not wrong when they say we're a bunch of morons, but let's not act like they aren't just as dumb over there. Fuckin idiots voted to leave the EU and voted for Boris ****ing Johnson to be their PM.
