OK, the MOVIE was made to be a SEQUEL to the ORIGINAL movie. I know that both movies were from the same book, but the people here aren't complaining about the book, they're complaining about the second movie in this trilogy, also known as a SEQUEL. So 'scuse us for being "ignorant americans" but it isn't our nationalities that make us ignorant, its that fact that we JUDGE people (that was supposed to be a HINT, but I'm assuming you got that since you're not one of us "ignorant americans").
And by the way, I totally agree that the second movie (cough cough sequel cough cough) was so much worse than the first. The thing that bugs me the most about it is Falkor's eyes. In the first movie they were pretty brown, like a puppy's eyes. In the second they were blood red. Is Falkor supposed to be evil or something?

Dude, the proof is in the pudding. We all make mistakes (2 is right next to 3 on the keyboard), just admit it and move on.
Back on track, I guess I'm the only one who actually likes the sequel. It is no where near as good as the original, but I still love to watch it. Maybe it's Nimbly?

Ok, I was wrong. There, happy now? You have to admit that your wording was a little off. I guess all of us "Ignorant Americans" thought you were using Lord of the Rings as an example, and we were simply mistaken.
BTW, I am a 37 yr. old smartass kid. I take no offense, bro, just don't fly off the handles at everyone.
I am done with all of the IMDB forums. When you have 5 year olds and people just wanting to start flame wars posting, that's going a little too far. Not to mention being insulted because I'm an American. There are some really thought-provoking questions and comments from some users, but I just get feed up with all the "bad and mean" threads much like this one has turned into. They far out-weigh the good threads.
Maybe if they moderated these threads somewhat, there would be less of a problem.

Hm, i agree with the beginning and the end of this thread. First, Schuwawerpserxech's (is it Austrian ?) post ripped my pants in pieces, as it was both very funny and accurate. Neverending 2 has anyway one good point : it pushes you to watch the prequel, sequel, erh whatsoever the other one. I mean, NeverEnding Story 1. Come on, you understood.
And I also totally agree with peterParker, whom side I join against people like raven. Ignoring that Neverending 2 isn't a sequel isn't enough, for me, to make a whole people ignorant. Even americans. And yet, I'm french
!
BTW, i ignored that too, so I guess all frenchies are now ignorants. I hope my fellow countrymen will forgive me.

Okay, first of all maybe all the "ignorant Americans" wouldnt of thought you were talking abot LOTR if you had in fact put a comma AFTER LOTR. Other wise it looks like your talking about it still when your said that it was devided it into 2 moviesdumbass!

You're not alone, I liked it, maybe even more than the original. I don't like the actors as much as in the original, but Bastian was justrather dumb in the first one.

neverending story 2 isnt a sequel. The original book written by Michael Ende is about the 2 movies; just like Lord of the Rings it was such a long story that they divided it in 2 movies. Read before making a fool of urselves!

Not even the smartest person in THE WORLD would know that you were referring to Neverending story instead of LOTR. Your grammar makes zero sense and your comparison sucks. Who the hell do you think you are anyway to come on here and call people stupid when you obviously can't even make a fair comparison. Unbelievable. Anthing that has three movies in a sequence are called the original, the sequel, and then when the third comes out it is now called a trilogy. So no matter what you are wrong. And I must say it feels good to be right. Power to the BRILLIANT Americans.
