Am now up to Ep 6 of Season 7 ANd had noticed that Mark and Brendon have kind of been pushed to the background. In an episode Mark was seen eating chocolates with the others but had no lines.
Then I realized after watching it Brendon (Josh Byrne) isn't even in the opening family scene in the kitchen before the episode actually starts.
What happened?

I read some where that he didn't want to come back after the 6th season and the show was cancelled. The 7th season was picked up by a different network.
The whole show took a major dive for me when Cody disappeared, replaced by Jean-luc and Lilly grew up from a baby to 5-6 years old within a few episodes. -

Mum and I think the same thing about post-Cody. I was a fan of Pinchot (Jean Luc) from Perfect Strangers but they seemed to play with Jean Luc a bit much. Went from a well known hair dresser to someone who didn't cut hair.
Didn't know it was cancelled then picked up again. Hate it when some shows just age kids a few years and also disappearing characters even though Cody was mentioned having a job in russia so hasn't totally been forgotten

Why is recasted in quotes? And it's not a word and if it were, it doesn't fit in grammatically. Why not say recast? So many questions.
Consider the daffodil. And while you're doing that I'll be over here looking through your stuff.

that little red squiggly line underneath recasted didn't hit you as odd?
it is one thing not knowing [for example, it is people WHO, not that.] but when the freaking computer does it for you, it's hard to ignore.
leaving it alone makes you look like you don't care. it also makes you look ignorant.

Not exactly. When one is "written out" of a show, there will be a plot point that gives a reason for the character's absence, like that character dying or moving away, as opposed to disappearing without explanation.
