No. It's not incest in anyway. Dana sleeping with Mark would be incest.
They were related by marriage, not by blood. If Carol and Frank ended their marriage, Cody isn't related to Dana at all.

Ummm NO, they are not related in any way, so it's not incest. Even step brother and sister is not incest because they are NOT related. Blood relation is the only way it can be incest.

No it would not be incest since they are not related. Same goes with the Brady Bunch just b/c two Ppl get remarried does not make them related to each other so The Lambert's could had banged The Fosters on this show also The Brady's could had banged The Martin's Carol's 1st married name.

Remember Cruel Intentions? Kathryn and Sebastian were step siblings and it was considered incest and everyone was shocked over that situation whether approving or disapproving, they were surprised someone had the balls to put a hint of incest in a movie.
I know there are people that will deny it or disagree but to me there did seem to be incest moments in the show. JT and Dana seemed to have a love hate relationship. People do consider a relationship even between step siblings or step cousins incest. People consider the stuff with Cody incest. I never considered it incest, but most people I've spoken to seem to disagree. When I said about liking Dana and JT together, I was met with funny looks because even though they weren't related, over the course of the show they were supposed to be a family and treat each other as brother and sister since their families were now merged. I think that if they aren't blood related it shouldn't be a big deal.
To others that were saying Cody treted Karen and Dana the same way-
Cody did like Dana. He didn't treat her the same as Karen. It was different with Dana. Especially in the earlier seasons, he woudl always flirt with Dana and act like they were going out and say he was in love with her. He didn't do that with Karen.
Yes ABC had balls back then. Then again I'd say it was pretty ballsy to put a show like Pretty Little Liars on ABC family too. A show about bullying going to far, manipulation, rape, young girls being stalked and murdered-that's really ballsy. -

Too close for comfort but not incest. I'm glad they didn't really go there though. Granted if the show was on the air now it probably would since most shows nowadays are too focused on "shipping" Hence the show on ABC Family called The Fosters wasted no time with setting up a potential relationship between the foster brother and sister.
