I don't think I waatched this show's later seasons, and I notice Brendan missed 27 epsiodes and left the show one year earlier than the other seven principals who appeared in all 160 episodes. Was his absence explained, or did he simply vanish like Judy Winslow, Morgan Matthews and others? You would think someone who had been with the show for six seasons and since the beginning disappearing without a trace would be a real insult to the fans.

He simply disappeared without explaination in the last season and he was never mentioned again. Though I remember Frank still saying he has 7 kids, even after Brendan's disappearance.
Just another victim of the "Chuck Cunningham Syndrome". I hate when they do this on any TV show and I agree it's an insult to fans. Viewers aren't idiots -

Judt Winslow did disappear with no explanation. I remember an episode where Carl and Harriet state that they have only the two kids.
If you are talking about Morganm Matthews from Boy Meets World.she diodn't really disappear. She was talked about and shown as well. Probably less inthe college years though. but she was in the the series till the end -

I was wondering the same thing. Like, seriously, what happened to him? He just disappeared. Did he go off to college? Did he run away? Did he go live with his grandparents for some odd reason? WHAT HAPPENED TO BRENDAN LAMBERT?

It wouldn't be that hard, just give him a study abroad opportunity or something. Other shows give explanations. Then there are David E. Kelley shows that are notorious for high cast turnovers, only some of which are mentioned or explained.

I feel like they could have at least mentioned him. Something like, "Brendan's upstairs" or "I just dropped Brendan off at soccer" or "at a friends house" or "class trip". No excuse for not mentioning him. He could have just been an unseen character.
