Probably the worst of all of this film's many stupidities…

several scenes
whenever the group of dudes in the Matrix-style clothing
walk toward them
from 30 yards away Marlboro Man can't even kill one.
He even complains at least twice in two separate scenes, "I CAN'T SHOOT THROUGH WHATEVER THEY'RE WEARING."
Yeah Aren't you the cracker jack shot who can shoot the barrel of a gun that someone was pointing at Harley? And you can't even shoot one guy's head?
At that distance I think that I could even shoot them, and I haven't fired a gun since I was 13 (I'm in my thirties now).
EDIT: I wrote this comment with 30 minutes remaining in the movie. Obviously he does eventually shoot their heads. but in my opinion the fact that it took this look only reinforces my argument about his sheer stupidity in not aiming at their heads much sooner -

If you were smart you would've waited until the movie was finished before posting. I never understood why people do that on IMDB.
The helicopter pilot near the end of the film says that the bad guys were wearing "lightweight Japanese Kevlar", which explains why bullets didn't stop them.
but it still doesn't explain why HD & MM's crew didn't shoot them in the head.
