John Candy's at dinner with some chick, then cuts to
An older lady (I think his mother) answers the door of her home, gets shot by a gunman and as she's dying, she says something like "I hope you're feeling fancy shmancy." (Something or the other)
Cut Back to the couple at dinner, John Candy's character gets up and phones his mother, after enduring this harsh daydream.

That is the only scene that I remember from this movie and it freaked me out as a kid.
