    In case anyone is interested, I think I found the house used in the film. It's located at 930 West Roscoe Street in Chicago, IL.

        I absolutely LOVE this house. I wonder if they used the interior of the house when they filmed the movie or if they built a set? Anyway, "Only the Lonely" is one of my favorite John Candy films.

            It can also be seen in the background, in "The Untouchables", in the scene where the bar is blown up.
