What About Bob? I was more into. I think because Groundhog Day itself is such a stupid thing that I can't get into it. Why we still do it, I have no clue.

Groundhog Day. There is no contest. But of course WAB was targeted toward a family audience while Groundhog Day was meant to have broader appeal, so it isn't really fair to compare.

Bob every time, all the way!!!
its my favourite comedy film of all time, bill murray and richard dreyfuss play off each other so effortlessly and superbly, i can watch it over and over again, i find it completely hilarious every time!!!
          pure comedy genius
wasnt too struck on g/hog day, too repetitive, and very sappy and schmaltzy as is went on, nope not for me

I can't choose. Both are equal in my opinion, and both are awesome.

'What about Bob?' starts funny then keeps getting funnier,
              whereas
'Groundhog Day' starts funny then keeps getting soppier.

I agree, What About Bob? is good, but Groundhog Day is better.

Easily Groundhog Day. Smart film with a great message and thought provoking. Bob is just good fun.

Groundhog Day is good at the start. Sure.
But then it gets sort of repetitive.

I usually watch these back to back. What About Bob then Groundhog Day.
I like Groundhog Day more though.

Me, too. This one showcases Bill Murray's comedic potential, while the latter shows that Bill is also a proven dramatic performer.

Definitely Bob. I am a huge Murray fan, but I can never sit thru Groundhog for some strange reason. WAB is, I think, very underrated & should be a cult film like Lebowski.
