Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — What About Bob?

I've watched this movie so many times, and having just watched it this morning still find myself laughing out loud. The casting is perfect. You feel Dr. Marvin's increasing frustration but totally get why everyone loves Bob, whose "aw shucks" personality is pretty grating when you think about it.
I would put it up there with "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels", which in my opinion is another perfect comedy.

Hell yes, Bill Murray is such a great actor because he doesn't try to be funny.
So many actors go big or way too over the top and Bill has always approached his craft like he's going out for beer and pizza.
Does that make sense? I don't mean to be vague.
