I don't remember this joke in the film, but there's an old joke about a patient talking to a psychiatrist:
Patient: Doc, I think I'm falling in love with a horse (or other animal).
Doctor: Male or female?
Patient: Female, of course. I'm not queer (or gay or weird), for Christ's sake.

There are many different versions with this punchline, but here is one:
Man in Confession: Father, I have been having sex with some of the animals on my farm.
Priest: Were these animals male or female?
Man: What do you think I am, a beep
