Probably some at home telemarketing job. You know those "Make money from home" kind of job where you call people and sell stuff.
Or maybe it was like the episode of the Simpsons where Homer gained alot of weight to get put on disability, so he would work from home. Because of Bob's mental state, he could get disability and do his job from home. -

Beacause of his mental state, I would say that Bob didn't have a real job. No doubt he's on full disability coverage(his rent gets paid, his medical and he gets money every month)so I would guess that the whole 'job' thing was just to keep him busy and feel like he was working. He couldn't leave his apartment or anything so I would say the job he had was his own way of dealing with the real world somewhateven though it wasn't a real job!!
It's all about the corned beef sandwiches and pineapple juice -

"fits the bill.? Was that intended as a pun?
A man saw a pun contest running in the newspaper. The prize was $1,000. He REALLY wanted to win, so he sent in 10 entries, HOPING one of them would win.

No pun in ten did!
Eight divided by one-half equals four squared! -

All these people saying he's on disability are way off.
He's clearly a telemarketer of some sort as his desk has what looks like an open telephone book, and after he punches in he lifts the receiver off his phone and picks up a headset. -

Whatever his job was, he wouldn't be able to afford a therapist and go out and not work for a month just like that. That's what spoiled the movie a bit for me.
I own you.
