This movie NEEDS to be rebooted. I mean, I love the original, like nothing I've seen, its funny and witty and a cult classic. But its very underrated.
Anyway, I think a reboot would be perfect ONLY and ONLY if Madelaine and Helen were Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway. The chemistry between those two was so good in Bridewars that I want to see more of them together.
Kate would be a perfect Madelaine and Anne would make an excellent Helen. I think Bruce Willis's part could be played by a dorky Bradley Cooper.
Hey, Kate is Goldie's daughter.. would be nice LOL -

Proper, remastered from the original film, release on Blu-Ray first.

It's an underrated film but what can a reboot bring to the table?
Of all the remakes and reboots, only "Battlestar Galactica" nails it. Partly because the original was so inconsistently handled. All the others just go through the motions, change the premise, and think that niftier special effects will somehow make it better. -

the whole point of original casting is "against-cast". bruce who usually is the action hero of the 90s played the wimp. meryl, a serious actress played a bad actress and using cgi. goldie hawn the 'cutesy' blonde plays the frump and then the redhead sexpot.
i love it. if they reboot, i hope they maintain the right amount of camp, the dark humour and REALLY good casting. -

Please, for the love of God, no. The subject matter is relevant enough for a classics rerelease at the multiplex, but no remake or reboot. Some oil wells are too rich to tap twice in a row.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion. But yours is beep
How about they make a new movie in a similar vain? Then when it sucks it doesn't ruin an already great movie. Reboots in general are unnecessary. Do you have trouble watching movies that take place in a different time? Do you need the beep color configuration and hack cinematography of today to enjoy a film?
How do you people exist?
