        That was priceless. I started a similar thread years ago because it's so funny to see her face but also considering the fact that verdict actually comes from the French word verit, from the Latin veritas, meaning truth long before the English got a hold of it. Trotter was the quintessential one eyed king in the land of the blind!

          According to 23andme, "The average African-American genome, for example, is 73.2% African, 24% European, and 0.8% Native American". I'm willing to bet a good amount of that European ancestry is English so chances are that lady does have English ancestry.
