BODY BAGS SUCKS!!! The Mark Hamill performance was gold though. Cheesy bowl haircut, gross mustache and lame southern accent was unintentionally funny. Every scene in that segment was laugh out loud.

I have to say though, that the black woman's decisions and reactions were ridiculous. Why does she go to the restroom and retrieve the key? She should have just gone back to the booth and stayed in there, semi-safe. Not that it matters in hindsight but it was still ridiculous. Then she see's the key sticking in the doorknob but she's not satisfied she has to go inside and see if she can get herself killed in the men's restroom.
I hate when writer's and director's throw reason and realism out the window to create ridiculous scenarios to hopefully get a scare.
I honestly don't know how John Carpenter ever made a movie the quality of Halloween or The Fog, because most of what he's done since then is very much "B" quality. -

His acting in Star Wars was as perfect as Star Wars because he WAS the character Luke Skywalker. If Hamill was spotty, Luke was spotty.

haha dude, looking at the message board you have spent almost 6 months of your life bashing on a film! Further on I looked at your profile only to find you are doing even more bashing on the John Carpenter message board. If you don't like the movie, we get it. Your opinion is your opinion, not "fact".

I caught this movie on tv late one night a couple of years back. When it was over, I knew I had to get it. I loved it. It had some great humor, and some great atmospheric tales. Tobe Hooper's segment was bad-ass! Too bad he wouldn't put his talent to work more often. And Carpenter does an excellent job as well, as he always does.

I Own It On VHS. And I Love It,But I Liked The Eye,And Hair Better Than The Gas Station. The Gas Station To Me, No Offense Was The Weaker One Of The Three. It Just Wasn't Thrilling Or Scary. It Seemed Rather Dull And Mundane,I Predicted Who The Killer Was Halfway Through The Story. I Also Though Mark Hammill Did A Great Job As The Psycho Baseball Player. He Really Made My Skin CrawlAnd Hair Was Just Hilarious. The Ending Is Classic. And I Loved JC As A Horror Host. He Almost Gave The Crypt Keeper A Run For His Money. I Say This Though,This Was Good But Not As Good As Creepshow Or Nightmares. Better Than Creepshow 3 Though

You should be careful of editing before you post. You meant Avatar sucks.

yeah, ok it sucks. it's got a certain charm however throughout. honestly the mark hamill performance was tough to watch and frustrating but only because he did it well. i like the second one and debbie harry was great. i think there's a lot more to this film that you should try to gather at face value; a level where it "sucks". the first was about a college student and the psycho is the guy from "revenge of the nerds". the second was about vanity and being "consumed" by it; with a really hot debbie harry. the third was about perception and delusion. it's poetic and again, i think it has a lot of charm.
