Whoever did the costuming, did a really poor job - especially with Demi's clothes.
The guys didn't look so bad, but Demi looked horrible! The cheongsam wasn't bad (the black dress she wore on the yacht), but then she had on these clunky-looking shoes that just totally detracted from the effect.
And the long white pencil skirt with the black stripes that she had on (when taking Redford around looking at houses) just emphasized her chunky thighs when she walked. And speaking of her walk - how totally masculine-looking, with her feet spread out. A dancer's walk, for certain (and I'm pretty sure she has training, but geeze at least TRY to walk like a lady!).
That white dress she wore to the benefit wasn't bad, but then they put that sheer, tight-sleeved jacket over it which made her shoulders and arms look huge.
I had forgotten just how bad this movie is until I saw it again tonight. -

I think she was STUNNING!!! The 'chunkiness' the original poster writes about is just sexy sexy curves, perfect figure (and not long after having a baby!) and I thought the style of her clothes in it was kind of kooky and unusual. And actually the outfit the OP mentions, when she is walking to work in that long striped skirt I thought this was particularly striking-looking.

Agree. She was and still is beautiful. Couldn't stop looking at her throughout the film. She was breathtaking in this movie. She didn't need fancy clothes - her sensuality oozed from the screen. Her sexuality wasn't in your face which is what makes her appealing in this film. It was subtle and engaging.

Actually, I was thinking as I just watched it: bodies don't get better than that. If her breasts were actually real, she would have the perfect body.
This film is the hottest Demi has ever looked. The OP is obviously just a troll or just jealous. -

No, her breasts weren't real in this movie. Sorry to burst anyone's bubble. There are many pics of her taken years before with a much flatter chest. Not that it's a crime to get a boob job.
I think she looks in her prime in this movie. I think she looks 1000% better than she does today with all the work she has had done to look "young" again. I think she now looks too thin and stringy. She looks "overworked". This is just one opinion. I also think it's sad that she felt the need to get so much surgery done.
