After Baldwin's character moves to Pullman and Kidman characters' house, there is a scene where Baldwin's character goes to the bathroom where he finds Kidman's character. There is a lot of tension there and Nicole Kidman is very aggressive. If I remember correctly, she asks "What the hell are you doing here?". They act like if they didn't know each other!! Well, since Pullman's character was not at home at that time, there was no need to act like that!!

I think the Pullman character arrives home at that point if my memory's correct. I think it was better when Andy follows Tracy to the house at the top of the cliff (in the scene full of rain) finds Tracy and Jed making out. As opposed to getting it on at that point in the bathroom.
Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh!t in order to be comfortable? -

i actually thought that scene showed how comfortable jed was towards tracey, and tracey acting funny around him may have been due to baldwin overstepping the boundaries towards her in her marital home, as it may have been discussed that no romanticism would happen in the house.

That scene is one of the (many, MANY) reasons I love this film. It could go either way. Nothing is really 'revealed' there, but you can see there's something not quite 'right' with how those two are acting towards one another.
At least that's how I took it anyway
Wait a minute who am I here? -

Yeah that scene popped in my head when the reveal is.. revealed and rewatching it it seems clear there's a familiarity between them. Now with the ending in mind she looks more she's worried he's going to blow it by doing or trying to initiate something that Andy might walk in on.
