No. They didn't drive back and forth in one day. After they arrived, Justice stayed at the hotel and Lucky stayed at his aunt and uncle's house.

In the beginning of the film, Jesse (the salon owner) asked Justice if she wanted to come in the car with them. But she said no.
They were at the hotel for a hair show.
