When he says the above Banner, you know it was about to be a duel and not only that it was a twist of shock because he was lying one sec. but then surprised and came to duel even ahead of Wyatt.
Also his passive- aggressive manner is also violent and aggressive. There are many example of this previously in the film.

I get your passion on this subject. I'm a massive fan of the American Old West and have a small library of books on the era.
Costner's take on Earp was a bit better. I can watch 'Historical' Westerns and separate myself from the fact they are mostly bollocks, but it is very annoying.
One of the worst is Walter Hill's Wild Bill, absolute made up rubbish, with the only redeeming feature, for me, being Bridges performance.
I usually stick with decent books on the subject, with films as entertainment only.
Willian 'Billy' Breakenridges book Helldorado is a different take on the Earp story, but he is in the Behan/Clanton camp in his bias.
If you're interested in Hickok you should read Joseph G. Rosa's works.
Rosa, Robert K. DeArment and Leon Claire Metz are the classic authors on Old West history, and I recommend them all highly. -

I dont want to waste my time on white supremacy fictional garbage. I finally got somebody who knows and agrees. If this movie was just purely fiction with a lot of different fictional names and characters I'd have no beef but when it takes into account historical figures, settings, and stories and pushes into tv we got a load of **** where tardheads like the one above doesnt care what he's being fed and believes some of the **** theyre pushing without a clue. I too used to a big fan until out of curiosity looked it up myself and found myself filled with ****. I was shocked on how different and the crap they were trying to sell. It's an abomination to media and it's usage and it has a hidden agenda it is pushing. I think society as a whole should be more conscious and punish such actions severely so we wouldnt have such turried filled garbage. With acts like this we wouldnt have such stupidity such as fake news, unaccountability, and agenda pushing messages. But because they are all stupid we have a huge mess.
