The world needs movies like "Wayne's World 3", "Clerks 3" and "Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure 3". If a lot of 80's action heroes made their comebacks, so should these guys.

Literally heard the Alice Cooper song from the first movie today & said 'I wish they'd make a Wayne's World 3 already.' And then I found this thread.
Here's hoping. It would be awesome if they got everybody from both movies in it, all the supporting casts, Walken, Basinger, Lowe, etc.

Dana Carvey just announced Wayne's World 3 on Conan tonight after Will Ferrel announced Anchorman 2.
I don't know if he was serious. He's got a good impression and poker face at the same time.
IMDB is nothing but criticism. Expect it. -

I actually think that it should go like this:
Wayne and Garth have been apart for roughly 5 years. Wayne then remembers that the anniversary of the first Wayne's world show is coming up. Wayne then wants to put the show back up for one last time, as an anniversary special. Wayne talks to Garth and he thinks it's a great idea. Unfortunately, no one else thinks so. The rest of the film is full of up to date pop culture, movie and TV references.
I even imagined one of the scenes. Wayne and Garth take a trip to the junk yard and find the Mirthmobile there, about to be crushed. They buy back the Mirthmobile and restore it.

A third movie would be a lot of fun, and would certainly work, as both Mike and Dana still have "It". They appeared again in 2008 at the MTV awards show, then recently late last year on SNL, and they were both very funny, or at least as funny as the characters are suppose to be.
It's dumb humor, but with a light touch, which is why I like it much more than the current R rated crap. With Wayne and Garth, they'll be vulgar, but never too crass, so it makes the movies have a pinch of innocence to them, which is fun.
Mike might benefit from dropping 15 pounds, but regardless, he and Dana still are the characters and can easily play them again on screen.
I'm sure iPhones will be a big part of a third film, as will the rest of the technology updates. Could be a great time at the cinema if the script and tone is good! -

Sweet, hope so!
They'd be wise to follow the same humor as in the first two, but not copy everything from those movies either. It should be it's own entity! Part two felt a bit like a slight copy with the new producer trying to get with Casandra, and that's only one of the reasons why it's not as good as the original.
Would be cool if they could get Penelope Spheeris back as director for part three!
I think Wayne and Garth should do their show again, but from Wayne's parents' basement again. The neighborhood crowd would love this, and it would be wink to the fans of the movies, that they've brought not only the characters back, but also the original show! I could see Wayne and Garth deciding to start the show back up again, or at least do one final broadcast, to please try and get back to how they used to be. This could either be at the end of the movie, or at the beginning.
