“By the time I left office, household income was near its all-time high, and the uninsured rate hit an all-time low, poverty rates were falling,” Obama said. “I mention this just so when you hear how great the economy is doing right now, let’s just remember when this recovery started.”
That is a fair point that Obama makes. The economy he came into in his first term was in shambles, and the economy when he left was lightyears stronger. He deserves more credit. Of course, if the economy tanks, that is all Trump's fault, without question. -

Trump has become the first president since Herbert Hoover during the Great Depression to depart office with fewer jobs in the country than when he entered. -

It's not what happened here. Obama is the one taking credit. The improvement in the economy is directly tied to Trump policy. Everyone knows it. The establishment is just trying to make voters turn on Trump.
Now to the important part: when has a white man taken credit for a black man's work? Never mind 'as usual', which suggests you believe it is happening all the time, give us a couple of examples. -

Slavery? The first slave owners were black. And even the slaves we brought over to the US were bought from black owners who took them from neighboring tribes.

The reason the economy is doing so well, the DJIA average is near an all time HIGH, and unemployment is at an all time LOW is because Trump cut taxes and regulations. Also businesses no longer has to worry about the government breathing down their necks, and picking winners and losers like Obama did.
The situation has NOTHING to do with race. The situation is that Obama was probably the worst president we've ever had. He hates this country, and wants it to fail.

It was a natural recovery. Obama had nothing to do with it. Capitalism works best when left alone by government. The economy recovered in spite of Obama, not because of him.
And the process was acceleration when we kicked the Dems out of the House in 2010, since Obama could do no more damage to the country or the economy. It continued to accelerate when we kicked them out of the Senate in 2014, and out of the Presidency in 2016.
The adults are back in charge. The economy is booming, the DJIA is near its all time HIGH, and unemployment is at an all time LOW. This is due mainly to Trump and Congress cutting taxes, and Trump cutting regulations.

ANY system can do that if unchecked. That's why we have laws. Capitalism has brought more wealth and prosperity than any other economic system in history. It's the best economic system ever devised since it takes advantage of human nature.
