      You can't "center around". "Center" defines a particular location. You can "center upon" or you can "revolve around."

        Heh, I didn't know Colombiana started out as a sequel to Leon.
        And there's nothing wrong with saying 'centred around', it's an idiom so it doesn't matter if it makes sense or not.

          Yeah, it is like saying you're making "plans for the future." Makes no sense but people use it without thinking.
          I'm all for people thinking about the idioms they use.

            We'd have to rethink a lot of our language if we were forced to give up using nonsensical idioms 🙂
